We’re known for solving the regional doctor shortage in Australia.
Every day, we’re focused on two clear outcomes: helping hospitals find doctors who create departments and clinics that run better, have more capacity, and have less stress. And placing Doctors in jobs that leave them feeling highly valued, rewarded and, most importantly, enjoying what they do.
We believe that getting these two crucial things right significantly impacts the regional doctor shortage and the healthcare of communities across Australia.
You might be surprised to learn that doctor shortages exist much closer to home, not just in rural and remote communities. For example, just beyond our capital cities, there are chronic staffing issues where hospitals rely on locum doctors to keep their services running.
We're not just dealing with an issue that affects those living outside of our main cities - it's a problem for all of us around Australia.
There are three main reasons why health services and doctors struggle to solve this problem on their own:
Lack the time to add finding a new job or recruiting for a vacant position to their daily to-do lists;
Struggle to identify the best position or to attract the best applicants;
They know that promoting themselves or a vacancy to be engaging and stand out from the crowd takes time, yet they also want immediate results.
To tackle these problems head-on, we have three solutions:
* Firstly, Prescript’s locum management service – a more immediate solution of eligible, engaged, credentialed doctors for interim support – these are locum roles in diverse locations, rewarding & enjoyable, curated to our community of Prescript doctors.
* Secondly, Prescript’s telehealth recruitment service – placement of doctors who can provide healthcare from home, overcoming the challenge of geography.
* Thirdly, Prescript’s permanent recruitment service – these are bespoke retained search projects for critical, time-sensitive, niche skill-set or multiple-hire positions
