Imaging Associates was established in 2011 with the vision of returning Radiology to Radiologists. Throughout our growth, we continue to provide a fresh approach to Radiology and are owned by a team of well-respected Radiologists with public and private practices across Melbourne, Gippsland, and Wagga Wagga.  

We have built a strong reputation of providing a high-quality imaging service, along with our friendly and welcoming patient-centered approach and culture. 

Fellowship Opportunity

As our business continues to grow, we are offering FRANZCR qualified Radiologists the opportunity to undertake a Breast Fellowship commencing in February or August 2027. We offer the successful candidates a 6 or 12 month fellowship. 

Based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, the successful candidate will work in both public hospital and private practice settings, as well as some exposure to BreastScreen. 

This hybrid position will combine roles as a Breast Radiology Fellow 3 days a week, and Consultant Radiologist 2 days a week.  Part time positions may also be possible.

We are industry leaders in the use of advanced breast technology, including breast MRI, contrast enhanced mammography and mammography AI. This fellowship also involves participation in regular breast multidisciplinary meetings (MDMs) in both public and private settings.

In addition, you will be part of a diverse team of radiologists whose skills and expertise span many sub-specialties. Exposure to a comprehensive range of services and practice settings is on offer. The opportunity for participation in after-hours rosters is also available.

During the Fellowship, you will develop competencies in and have exposure to:

• 3D mammography (breast tomosynthesis)
• Synthetic 2D mammography
• Mammographic breast density software
• Artificial Intelligence software for 3D mammography
• Stereotactic and tomosynthesis-guided breast procedures
• Contrast enhanced mammography (CEM)
• CEM-guided breast procedures
• Breast ultrasound
• Ultrasound-guided breast procedures
• 3T breast MRI
• MRI-guided breast procedures
