The Opportunity:
BIV is seeking a passionate Consultant Breast Radiologist to join our thriving and specialised health professional team on a part-time and ongoing basis (1-2 days per week). The practice is in an exciting growth phase and is seeking a highly capable, driven and suitably qualified Specialist.

BIV provides a unique and patient-centric model of care that integrates a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, radiologists, nurses, sonographers, and mammographers. We are committed to maintaining high standards and delivering the best possible service to patients with breast health concerns. We have breast surgeons collocated at BIV and this model allows close collaboration.
Services:
We provide Contrast Enhanced Mammography, 3D Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Ultrasound Core, FNA and stereotactic biopsies all specifically designed for breast assessment.

Availability:
Part-time position of 1–2 days per week.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current general and specialist registration with AHPRA (Diagnostic Radiology)
- Completed accredited training in Diagnostic Radiology (FRANZCR)
- Experience in interpreting diagnostic breast imaging studies including digital mammography, tomosynthesis and Contrast Enhanced Mammography and Breast Ultrasound
- Experience in performing interventional procedures including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies
- Preoperative localisations (wire, seed, or equivalent)
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to provide leadership whilst on site and support technical staff in clinical decision-making
- Contribute to quality assurance and audit activities related to breast imaging services
- Commitment to multidisciplinary care and professional development
