Clinical Director – Radiology Tasmania
We are seeking a Clinical Director – Consultant Radiologist to join our Radiology Tasmania group to provide high level expert advice, leadership and direction to the Radiologists regarding clinical matters, to promote clinical excellence and to serve the best interests of patients.

Our services include MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, Paediatrics, and more, all backed by modern technology and a supportive team culture.
About the role
Lead the strategic direction of Radiology Tasmania & Women’s Imaging across the state while continuing to practise clinically. This role combines leadership, mentorship, and service development with a varied clinical workload. Subspecialty expertise in Women’s Imaging, MSK, MRI, or Interventional Radiology is highly regarded.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership within the Tasmanian radiologist collegiate
- Determining and implementing clinical policies, guidelines and accreditation standards
- Advise on clinical standards and quality assurance to improve patient outcomes
- Assist the Radiology Tasmania General Manager with recruitment and retention of radiologists
Requirements
You Will Have
- FRANZCR qualification (or eligibility) with strong general radiology skills
- Ideally subspecialty interest in mammography, women’s imaging, MRI, MSK, or intervention (highly regarded)
- Proven leadership skills
- Current AHPRA registration & relevant state Medical Radiation Licence
