Description

To provide timely and caring medical expertise in Radiation Oncology to patients at Ballarat Austin Radiation Oncology Centre (BAROC).     To demonstrate a keen interest in education and professional development.   To provide timely responses to multiple stakeholders including referring doctors both private and public and other clinical units within the hospital network (both Grampians Health and metropolitan counterparts).  

Requirements

Direct responsibility for management of patients referred for Radiation Oncology opinion and treatment (in outpatient and inpatient settings), including simulation, planning and ongoing review of treatment progress, under the supervision of accredited Radiation Oncology Registrars and Consultant Radiation Oncologists. Ability and motivation to work independently in a supervised environment. Participation in multidisciplinary clinics to identify suitable clients for participation in clinical research. Participation in the delivery of radiotherapy services.
