About the Role
Join the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and play a vital role in delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-focused care to individuals across metropolitan and rural locations. This role provides the opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, contributing to clinical services, departmental safety and quality initiatives, and research activities. You will also have the chance to participate in teaching and training undergraduate and postgraduate students across medical, nursing, and allied health disciplines.
This six-month role covers a broad clinical workload, including subspecialty areas such as lymphoma, paediatrics, and radiosurgery, tailored to your expertise. The successful applicant will be involved in the integration and implementation of new treatment planning systems, including Research, supporting innovation and quality improvement across the department. About You
You are a skilled Radiation Oncologist with a strong commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care and collaborative practice within a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise and professional integrity allow you to manage complex clinical workloads while contributing to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Fellowship of RANZCR (or equivalent) with specialist registration in Australia
- Proven experience managing complex cases, including paediatric, head & neck, or lymphoma
- Strong team player with demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and patient care
- Knowledgeable in Radiation Oncology workflows, safety processes, and multidisciplinary practice
