Position Title: Clinical Director – Radiology
Location: Department of Medical Imaging, Division of Allied Health, Mackay Hospital and Health Service
The Mackay Base Hospital have an opportunity available for a Clinical Director to join their Medical Imaging Department on a Permanent Full-Time basis (80 hrs p.f.)

About the Department
The Medical Imaging Department is located on the ground floor of the E-Block at Mackay Base Hospital and delivers a range of services including General Radiography, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Intervention, Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Theatre II. The service includes remote rural reporting for MHHS rural sites, including CT services at Proserpine and Bowen.
The Medical Imaging team is staffed with 5 radiologists, 4 sonographers, 4 FTE consultants, 1.5 FTE STP funded RANZCR trainees and 2 FTE unaccredited registrars.
MBH Medical Imaging is a RANZCR accredited training site, with rotating trainee registrars through Queensland Radiology training Network. Mackay is a great place to enjoy work life balance with opportunity for career expansion. The collegial/friendly working environment at MBH is an added benefit.
Your opportunity
To provide high quality clinical services to the medical imaging department and to educate medical staff and students, allied health professionals, interested community groups and nursing staff. To participate in patient safety, audit, research, and service planning.
Remuneration & Other Benefits
Remuneration value up to $549,491 p.a. comprising base salary between $210,332-$266,677 p.a. (L18-L27); employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%) paid for 4 weeks leave, professional development allowance, and professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a, salary sacrificing, employee assistance and peer support programs, corporate membership discounts, fitness passport (conditions apply).
Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be and remain vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
