About the Opportunity
Women’s & Breast Imaging (WBI) invites applications from radiologists who have recently completed FRANZCR Part 2 and are seeking subspecialty development in Breast Imaging and Intervention.
This fellowship-style position offers structured mentorship and progressive independence in a supportive private practice environment. Based at our Cottesloe and Murdoch sites — including the Murdoch Medical Health Precinct — this role provides both career development and lifestyle advantages in Perth.
What We Offer
Structured mentoring with a fellowship-trained breast radiologist (17+ years experience).
Progressive independence: observation → supervised reporting/procedures → independent practice.

Breast ultrasound.
Image-guided procedures: FNA, core biopsy, vacuum-assisted biopsy.
Multidisciplinary participation: attend and contribute to Breast MDT meetings.
Academic and professional development: involvement in research, publications, and opportunities to present at local, national and international meetings.
Leadership growth: teaching and mentoring of registrars, medical students, sonographers and trainee sonographers.
Modern facilities: elegant, patient-centred practices in Cottesloe and our new site at Murdoch.
Why This Role?
Breast imaging is a high-demand subspecialty with limited consultant availability.
